Engine flush?

Engine has been stood for 2 years, now uneven idle, suspect sticking rings, what's the general opinion on using a top quality engine flush

I doubt the un even idle is sticking rings, its more likely electrical. Did you pour oil into the bores and turn over by hand.

Did you drain the old petrol and replaced with fresh juice?

Another good point fuel goes stale in about 2 months. The octane levels drop.

New oil, filters, plugs, all electrics checked and good,fuel tank and lines cleaned and new fuel
Low on compression now, was perfect when it was last running
