My 1997 SL came with a Blaupunk Pasadena DJ radio/CD player.Everything works except the screen info is illegible.Does anyone know of any firm that could fix this.
I would love to keep it all original rather than fit a modern flashy unit.Also I`ve been told a new radio would not be compatible with the CD changer in the boot.

I recently updated with a Becker Cascade 7946. It looks fitting, but it has Bluetooth, sat nav and iPod.

If your CD changer is not of the fibre optic type (which it probably is not) then it'll probably work with a new head unit but once you have iPod, what's the point?
