Does anyone have any pictures of the seat runners and how they fit onto the seats in a late 90's car please? My seats seem too far forward compared with my old car and at a slightly raised angle front to back. I cant believe the fixing points are in different places in the floor, so expecting (hoping for!) some form of adjuster somewhere.

Thanks

Graham

I can't find my pictures but, there are riser blocks on the front of the drivers seat.
Apparently there are two sets of holes for mounting the sliders to the seats allowing for taller or shorter drivers (according to another PHer), so yours may be set in the wrong position for you.
It could also be that the sliders are corroded not giving you full range, depending on how dry your floor is.
The seats bolt straight through the floor, and I used copious amounts of silicone sealant to prevent leaks, but yours may not be so watertight?
The seats are only held in by four 13mm (m8) studs/nuts, and take 5 minutes to take out.

Thanks Harry. All seems dry and in good condition when I looked. Seeing if there was anything blocking it, the runners have some grease on them. I will probably take the drivers seat out and have a look.

Well, I am pleased to say that the underneath the seats it is drier than a ryvita!

For some reason, both of my seats had 10mm bolts in the runners, stopping the seats going all the way back. Also, once removed, the plush carpets and angle created by the front spacing brackets, meant that I had to put a couple of thick washers under the back of the runner to give the seat enough space to go back without forcing them on the floor/carpet.

All sorted. Thanks
