morning folks, just got up this morning to find vantage totally dead. put the key in and all displays are off only thing coming up is the engine light! lights are also on. windows wont slip down under surround either. key fob doesnt seem to be working.... any suggestios. seats are mving back and forward, no radio tho. any advice please

Try jumping it but read the manual first wink

You haven't accidentally pressed the battery cut off switch have you..?

Sounds like battery disconnect switch been pushed , as car is in safe mode....try a reset...

thanks guys for all the info. just to update; press the batt reset button and jumped the car. started straight away and have left it running for about 40 mins. going to bring it for a 30 min drive now. first time its happened but havent been driving it alot lately so maybe that could be it. its sill under warranty so dont know if that covers a new batt wink prob not knowing aston. thanks again all who gave advice really appreciate it. will throw a few phtots when/if my new dbs wheels arrive this week.

If you dont use them a lot you have got to leave them on the battery conditioner.

in fairness i drive it every second day, its my third vantage and its the first time i had this prob!

Still may not be enough to replenish it
I've had this sort of issue with both my roadsters
first one was finally traced to a short on the drivers seat loom
second was a 3 month old battery that died after a run round snowy Wales frown
Before you start it next time just test the voltage across the points you jumped it from, ought to be just over 12V

thanks mikey sounds like good advice. have had the car 3 months and first time something happened , its going in for a few warranty issues in next couple of weeks so will ask them to check out batt!

Happened to my one 18 months ago - the AA jumped it and no problems ever since. Must have left something on whilst it was tucked up in the garage without being driven for a few days.
