Anyone know of a source of 0-5v 7 bar pressure senders? My new oil pressure gauge...

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/gauges/s...

...needs a sender with a 0-5v output rather than a normal resistive sender and the recommended sender on Demon Tweeks website...

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/gauge-sen...

...is over £100 for the 1/8" NPT sender! eek

I guess the 1/4" NPT fitting version of the sender is slightly less ridiculously priced at £82 so I suppose a 1/8" NPT to 1/4" NPT adaptor could be used

If you want to use the old sender, tweaking the signal with the fuel gauge wizard/temp gauge wizard could be an option:

I have no connections with them, just bought one and fitted it yesterday to match the RR water temp sender to the Caerbont gauge.

Thanks Claus - unfortunately not an option here as the gauge wizard is for use with gauges that use resistive senders and isn't capable of sourcing a 0-5v output ... I have a couple of those in my "just in case" box already for "emergencies". biggrin

As it is, the sender needs replacing anyway so I guess I'd just best bite the bullet and buy Demon Tweaks £110 sender... frown

Cheers for the reply though - all input is welcome. biggrin
