Impetuosity got the better of me today.

Took a drive down to Andertons and bought the Gibson LPJ.

My first decent guitar, and it's a real USA Les Paul.

Spent a couple of hours on it this afternoon and it's a dream to play.

It's a complete sustainiac in comparison with the old Tele I was using.

Very happy right now, will try and get some pics up soon.

Thanks to everyone that's added their two penneth in quest for a decent guitar.

Well done, and it's always great when you buy something and it does what you want it to.

p.s. if it didn't sustain longer than a Tele, there would be either be something wrong with it, or something wrong with the Tele

What do you think about having a single pickup? I don't really use anything live other than the bridge (laziness reasons) but a neck pickup can improve your recording options.

Top quality guitars though. A mate of mine has one and sanded it down. Made from really good wood.

Actually, I kinda want one...
