Training day. Is it really necessary?
Discussion
Hi all,
I'm doing a training day next month at Silverstone in my 1998 Griff 500. It works out at 5 20-minute lapping sessions. I was looking in the 'bible' under track day preperation and it says to check the gearbox and diff oil levels, change brake and clutch fluids, etc.
The thing is my car had a thorough 12000 mile service from Peninsula in June, I have done 1500 miles since then.
Is it worth doing all this as it's just been serviced? anyway I'm not capable of checking the diff levels and gearbox levels.
Grouch.
