Help with UK 2006 Jeep SRT8 (WK1) and US staggered wheels.
Discussion
Hi all
So, I have a set of 9" wide front and 10" wide rear staggered wheels from the US which fit all SRT8s. The wheels should fit flush with the wheel arch. The long and the short of it is that mine don't.
Rears are fine, fronts are out by 15mm. I have asked around and checked the part numbers for the A-arm and the UCA, hub and knuckle etc. I'm told they are all the same dimensions as the US parts.
My question is, are there any obvious (to you guys... obviously not to me!) things I have overlooked in terms of suspension geometry or other suspension considerations which may have led to the wheels sticking further out? I had a four wheel alignment and had a little extra neg camber dialled in but this hasn't solved the problem. Its still within the alignment numbers but the LCA is now maxed out.
Is there a way of moving the hub inboard by a cm or two each side through adjustment to the suspension components?
Is wear of ball joints/shockers etc. likely to have caused this? Both sides held their previous alignment well and have an equal effect on the amount of wheel/tyre sticking out.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Thanks for the reply.
Offset is 45 rear and 30 front. Confirmed from the wheels.
Original for these was 50mm and 34.7mm so at the front I'm likely to be further out by 4.7mm but this should still be fine according to both the manufacturers (they are custom made for this model) and again when viewed on other SRT8s, with the same offset etc, they are fine.
