991 selling well?

Before putting my deposit in for the new GT3 I had been monitoring used prices of 991 c2s and 4s. I was going to buy one of the vehicles in stock with a good discount ( I think it was £9k off list) but decided to go all out and order a new GT3.
Since then I've occasionally checked the stock of my dealers group and prices seemed to have firmed up on the above vehicles but judging that I've been looking for we'll over four months now the same cars in the group are still there. In fact I don't think they have sold hardly any of their used 991 vehicles since looking.
If they are not shifting their used 991 stock are there still large discounts available on 991's as it must be bloody hard to move them these days without huge discounts or is it true they have massively reduced supply ?

I heard they have shifted a lot of production output to emerging markets and reduced supply to the UK. I've heard a whisper that Porsche UK have scaled back numbers on the new 991 to bring supply back into line with demand. My lovely Aqua 991 C2S might need a new home soon if the GT3 allocation is confirmed (despite pessimism on this forum about its likelyhood..)There was an over-supply of 991 C2 models during its first year of production, with too many cars available from stock.
Now, I believe allocations are more limited and, although there will be cars in stock and some discounts, it's all now much tighter with most cars being built to order within acceptable lead times.
However, and I'm sure this goes for all models, inc the Turbos and GT3s, they will want to produce enough cars to satisfy genuine demand.

3k 6/12 old retails at OPCs for late seventies? So how do they make that deal work? Surprisingly small margin. I would have expected max £70k bid on 87 k list 991 under a year old. Over 50 (yes fifty) 991 C2S cars available from stock in the UK - this excludes paid up stock, showroom cars and other models (i.e. C2, C4, C4S).....any if these 50 cars can be called of by any OPC.

I just wonder if the 991 really is the be all and end all 911. Im not really a newer 911 kind of guy, however saying that personally I prefer the 997 to the 991. This goes for interior and exterior. Deals are being done at 15% off which is the dealers front and back end discounts.

Just my opinion and please understand its just my opinion not a knock at any car or anyone, but whilst looking around the 991 at my local OPC the interior especially just seemed, I dunno, more a car for the American market that a European one and the car seemed a lot bigger somehow than a 911 should be.
It just seemed less of a sports car.

For me the 991 is an awesome GT car albeit a little too synthetic - that's why the GT3 will a huge success, it'll add a little rawness back into the 991 something which was lost from the 997

Including demo cars there is the same amount as there was in February when I last checked - 119 cars. That is around 10% of all the cars imported into the UK.Deals are being done at 15% off which is the dealers front and back end discounts.

Don't know why anyone would buy a new one at the moment unless it was a custom paint job, the C4S which is up at swindon for £99k has the powerkit, aerokit and looks the nuts.
Unless they have done something in the last 3 months, there is no slowdown in the numbers imported to the UK, its steady at 300 per quarter.

Been in today and their opening offer was more like 3%.
I told them the discount mentioned by you at circa 15 % was the figure I'm looking to trade at.
They're going to play with their calculator and come back to me.
I'm not holding my breath.
