So ready now to make the leap to buy a 996 turbo - saw 2 that I was VERY interested in.
I phoned one and left a VM, no call back. I then rang again and left my details for an approximate change over cost vs. my car. Promised a call back and nothing. Then dropped a text as a reminder. Nothing.
Next garage I phone, guy answers and got really angry when I asked him about a change over cost - said he gets 50-60 calls a day and would only give me a figure if I came to see him. I explained I was 110 miles away but I cut the call short as he was obviously a muppet.
I'm amazed these garages stay in business - do they genuinely want to sell their cars???
Think I'll wait for my local specialist to source me one - he has more than one brain cell and some manners!!!
