To register the V8S to a veteran car club I need to find where the Vehicle Identification Number is. Unfortunately the club does not accept the picture of the VIN which is on the metal plate under the bonnet: they told me they need the picture of the VIN that is on the frame.. Anyone knows where this number is located on the frame of a V8S (don't know if it's different for other S models, any advice could help!)?
Thank you

usually on the offside upper chassis tube just rear of the suspension.(May well be hidden partially by the offside exhaust manifold)

Have a look at the top chassis rail on the right hand side looking toward the radiator by the front suspension (on UK cars might be on the left if yours is a left hand drive) BUT its most likely to a rusty lump and difficult to identify the number.

On the S1, it can be found on the drivers side chassis rail, next to the exhaust manifold. A car with a new chassis might not have one...
