BA Flight Returning to Heathrow Dumping Fuel Over Essex

BBC News just mentioned a BA aircraft is "dumping fuel over Essex" and returning to Heathrow with landing gear problems.

I'm assuming this means a recent departure which cannot retract it's gear? Does anyone have any details of the type involved?

I saw this from Cookham last night, I thought I could see a nose wheel which is a little odd.

Thought it could have been going for maintenance though, obviously not.

Stuff like this happens more often that people realise. Happened to me once on a flight from Heathrow to India - the flaps wouldn't retract, so we circled until at safe landing weight, landed, they fixed it, we took off again - turned out not to be fixed after all. More circling and a night in a hotel.
