Your probably right ,could I run a dye through it ..tried using the carbon canister one which I removed and blanked but it`s to large for the hose.

A die cuts external threads ~ you should be able to easily see if they are damaged. A tap cuts internal threads, which is likely what you need... ..but it can only cut metal that is there - no magic way it can create metal that has been worn away...

I could blank that hole with a plug and washer then use one of the others , problem is the hose is to short ,would need extending .

using it to secure the power steering vessel ,must of started it on a slight angle .It was a bit tight getting it started .

Fitted the vessel to the right of the coil packs ,not down loaded any pictures

You can replace the servo hose easily enough with just the clutch res cover removed, if you want to fit new longer hose.

Daz, take your nipple to your plumbing merchants, match the thread and buy a plug.
Try and screw it in with PTFE tape, if that works. Then fine, renew servo hose for longer one.

If that fails, buy a plug and chemical metal it in place, you don't need it, extend servo hose as before, job done.

Just take your existing to a good motor factors or a local garage to match bore, they probably have loads of offcuts kicking around.

Look at the writing on your existing hose, it's probably something like:
CODAN VACUUM BRAKE SAE J1403 / FMVSS 106

Then just buy some in the length you require (1m is probably enough).

Make SURE you get VACUUM hose.

ETA:
You will need to carefully slit the old hose with a scalpel to get it off, don't just pull it with ham-fisted aplomb....

Managed to get the nipple to tighten up without the bracket trapped in between . Does anyone have a spare power steering vessel bracket which secures from one of the plenum bolts .

That would be brilliant ,my fabricating skills are terrible..

Will sort you out with beer tokens .

Got it a bit wrong, it`s the coil bracket I need ,the bit what fits under the plenum bolt.
