Hi

Anyone here have any experience hosting a Terminal Server on the web, I have 4 small IT Learning centres that want a TS based solution, obviously the cheapest way would be to put a TS on the web rather than 4 seperate servers...

Any help appreciated

Colocating a Server is just the same as having it in another room in your office.

If it works there, it will work here, but a little eaiser (given there is no NAT'ing to worry about... unless you want to go Hardware Firewall route!)

Just think of Colo as a machine on a very long Network cable, to you.

There shouldnt be any concerns about it being out of the office, from a functionality PoV.

Have hundreds of clients running windows boxes without issue. VNC, Remotely Anywhere, PC Anywhere, Remote Desktop etc, all run 100% fine.

Feel free to drop me a mail if you want to chat.

Functionality wise I'm fully aware its more the costs etc (eg bandwidth) that might be an issue. Obviously the hosting costs too.
