Hello All

I have an issue with the air temperature under the bonnet of my Caterham 21 which can rise to 45 degree after a spirited drive.
So I have working on a cold air feed to the engine.

I can source an air box for the throttle bodies but it mean I need a different air filtration system.

I am thinking about an air filter inside a cylinder..

Could you recommend a unit for an 1.8ltr engine producing about 180bhp?

Cheers

Jack

If you have an air box for your TB's , can't you put a panel filter in that, then run some ducting to the front of the car?

There is no room for a panel filter.

I have a set of direct to head throttle bodies on my K series

Then you need a cone filter, best fitted to a length of silicon pipe. You can get types that enable you to then run a cold air feed to it from the front of the car, they have an enclosure, try demon tweaks, merlin Motorsport,
