Les Leston wheels replicas.
Discussion
Well, may be somebody can be interested in this thing.
While searching the original Interceptor Mk 1 steering wheel (which I beleive was Walsall made, widely known as one of iconic Les Leston models, I once decided to make nice replica of it.
Its just hobby for me, complete steering wheels still not done, as I dont have right person for the wooden part fitting (I bought prefabricated rims already)
Wheels which need restoration usually cost 200+ pounds on EBAY, but it`s usually without horn push housing. Complete restored wheels with hub price is very high. Motolitas is not looks good enought in my opinion, and is not period item..
All steering wheels made from stainless (much more expensive and nonscratch material than aluminium)
Wood is palisander.
This is just hobby, I dont still thinking to sell any, but if anybody interested - give me to know.
Here is the some pictures.
