Getting a bit worried
Discussion
The TVR has been in the garage for 2 months after a 'slight' incident. Nothing serious, just a bit of bodywork replacement/painting & new radiator.
The parts eventually arrived from the factory to the bodyshop last Wednesday/Thursday, but spoke to the bodyshop today and they have not started the works.
They assure me that they are starting it this afternoon, and that the car will be back to me by early next week.
However, the engine has not been started in 2 months as the car has just been 'sat' awaiting parts.
Is there anything which should be done/checked before venturing out on a track at 150+ mph ? i.e, will brake pads need replacing ?
If so, I can get it booked in beforehand.

dont go bezerk for first few runs,
Funnily enough most spins tend to happen early on in the day with people giving it too many of the johnny large potatoes from the off.
I don't think I'm alone in saying that first couple of times are best used as sighting runs to get used to the turn after the straight, decide where to brake etc.
Also remember that cars can do odd things when you push them very hard - in mine the aircon can sometimes 'breathes out' at around 160mph and fogs the windscreen. You only find this out in a real situation, and without a confident idea of where you are / how fast you're going dealing with things like that could get very hairy...
