Shelsley Walsh Breakfast Meet Alert
Discussion
Its round to that time of the month again, Sunday Breakfast and oogle the cars of all types in the paddock at Shelsley Walsh, near Tenbury Wells, 9am to midday.
Its also Warwick Festival with Car Show in the town square, both free to get in, see the events thread at the top of the S Forum for more info..
I am hopefully taking the TVR for a blast on the Heads of the Valleys road in South Wales Saturday, try to fit in a bit of surfing, in Porthcawl, then back for both Shelsley and Warwick, 350 miles if all goes well. Just road testing the refurbished badge on the bonnet...
If the route looks good maybe a future road trip, Beales Chip Shop in Dan Y Graig is awesome, sit in the TVR watching a sunset over the bay..........!

Well I managed to find the way into the square in Wawick, after circling 3 times finally a steward opened the barriers for us, its great to park for free on the pavement by double yellows for free!!!
There was overflow parking everywhere round town, most cars represented from the earliest 1902 Ford to a 1993 Toyota Supra, plus rat rods Yank pick-ups, several beetles, E-Types, Chevy's and a wild yellow Fiat with a kawasaki ( I think ) engine a real street sleeper, and what a noise!!
The oil deposit was from a biege Vauxhall Cavalier !!! I waited for him to leave before taking the photo.
.
Happy to report that , over 400 miles travelled in 2 days ( most I have attempted in the TVR ) did not miss abeat, managed a blast both ways through both tunnels, Bryn Glas and the Monmouth, TVR howl recorded with lots of wind noise on son's phone. Waves in Porthcawl not good enough for surfing but had a great swim in the sea, roof down whole weekend, bit late getting to Shelsley, over slept, long queue for breakfast, met Chris, new to S ownership, had a T350 previously though, Nick brought his AMG Merc along, an awful lot of car for the money, sounds awesome.
My head is a little sunburned but WOW, I love my TVR !!!

I agree with all of the above!
It was nice to put a face to the names on the forum and meet you all in person.
You've done well with the respray Mike and I too love the TVR!
I've had a few nice cars over the years (a 350i by the way, a T350 is way out of my price range!)and yet the S is honestly the one that puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.
Yes it needs work, but so much fun for a relatively small outlay, what more can you ask for?
Oh, and the best and most friendly bunch of owners I have encountered.....
Regards Chris.
