6 speed 964, first thoughts

We have just picked up my car after the conversion, just done my first 100 miles or so, all I can say is what a transformation, would swear I had another 30 bhp, the gears seem so well spaced, the car feels it just wants to be driven, 6th seems a little higher so high speed cruising is a dream.

Interesting - is the moded G50 964 gearbox or a 993 implant?

Probably a G50/21 box with shorter 3/4 ratios than a 964 box. Nice mod Link below shows ratio info.

you are right they used a 993 gearbox with my existing LSD

sorry, but it was so worth it, has transformed the car, just getting off the ferry in Dublin and am looking forward to the next 100 miles home, had the RS gear linkage installed as well, swapping gears are a joy

It depends on what year C2 you have? This site http://www.jackals-forge.com/lotus/993/rsshift.htm... shows the parts etc, if your car is 91 then the part 28 in the diagram is also needed 964 424 028 00 and the tunnel needs to be modified to accept the new bush.
