I'm not normally one for posting negativity, mum always used to say "if you can't say something nice say nothing at all" however, you did ask for advice.
So....I'm not loving the look, too modern and blingy for your lovely S. I think the TR 6 ish type wheels look just fine.

Wheels are such a subjective thing. It’s your car and if you like them, then why worry. It’s like when a woman says “do I look fat in this?” There’s no right answer. Unless you’re Swiss Toni of course. Now what would he say?

You did ask ..... those are probably the most horrible wheels I have ever seen, don't think they'd look good on anything !

Possibly look a bit better if all spokes were same colour scratchchin

In my defence they're not a million miles away, maybe the tiv's are a bit less washing machiney. Also maybe my memory of TR6's is a little jaded and I did say TR6ish. I also have at least another two dozen excuses for being factually incorrect.

Yep, I'm not once for sitting on the fence either.

They're not nice. They don't compliment the S, or any other car for that matter.

Im afraid I'm with the others on this too. All personal taste really and if you like them that's all that matters. I'm going for a set of these as I can't get eight spokes anywhere.

I am afraid to say I have to add my vote to most of the above, they do not look right on an S. Not sure I like them at all really. Mind you I have to say the phallic ones Mike has posted are actually the worst I have ever seen!

Which wheel are we commenting on?

My thoughts and opinion....

The front, although nice for some Jap based car, look a bit too modern for an S.

The back, looks spot on for the car.

If you want new wheels, have you considered getting the original wheels refurbished?

Swiss Toni says…….”making love to a beautiful woman is like choosing wheels for your TVR. No matter what you do she will always tell you there’s a better way to do it” laugh

NOOOOOOOOO! ! ! Please NO! There are so many nicer wheels to choose.
Deeman & Mike,
Both your suggestions are way better than Marcelli's pic,
Do they supply them both in 4 stud 108 pcd 15"x7J et 29?
If so, I'll have 2 of each to equp Austin for his future adventures.
Very Austin Powers.....Yeah Baby!
Must be able to get Union Jack wheel centres as well..........?

I've got TVR 5-spoke (7 pcs) and this botti (on rear). But this 17"... Cheap for me - about 120Ł for set of rims. I've got some oposite feelings.
Maybe just on a track?

The rear is the one I was referring to as slightly reminiscent of TR6 wheels, I think it suits the S well.
