Can anybody let me know how far the drive from the track is to the closest petrol station? I'm assuming I will have to do a lunchtime dash when doing a full day track day...

Going on the 23rd, can't wait...

If I remember correctly, the nearest for super unleaded is in Holyhead.not too sure how far that is to be honest.
Enjoy it,it's a cracking track, especially the shorter one when it drops down like a corkscrew, like the track in America I also can't remember the name of.

Hollyhead is about 20 mins or tesco at Bangor just over Menai bridge a bit closer. Just take a few jerry cans, handy for future events.

We've always managed with a fill up at the shell garage by the Menai bridge and 3 jerry cans

(Then a fill up on the way out)

Not the closest garage I guess but its the only local V power

yer, I may have to do a lunchtime dash too as its a bit tight in my car for two cans.

I don't have a go pro - have another type but it clips to a strap around the sun visor

I think there is a Shell garage about 6 or 7 miles away.

Hi Woosher. Impressive laps on the ring. You'll have no problem keeping up with the m3s. Bully will be quick with his track tyres, I'm on road tyres at the moment in my m3 3.0. My pals 328i sport with 325 ratio diff and manifold from a 325 is as quick as my 3.0. We are drifting that at oulton tomorrow. See you next Friday. Are you stopping over the night before. Me , bully and Chris are going for a few beers in rhosneigr.

The 328i laps you saw were in my sons car. He`s taking that to Anglesey and I`m taking my Golf.

The morning, on the GP circuit doesn`t particularly benefit me with the 2 long straights, I only have ~175 HP, handling is where my car goes well, the coastal circuit after lunch should be better smile

I did the Oulton drift thing a few years ago, had a cracking time too !

We`re camping at the circuit next Thursday, see you on Friday.
