Job Purpose,
To lead the team that delivers all Consumables & Spares quotations, processes all System orders for all Consumables, Spares and Products and ensures all Spares & Consumables are dispatched globally within the targeted lead times. To assist the Management team in developing the Spares & Consumables business in line with company growth plans.
This is a new team, created to establish a formalised Order Management process to meet the needs of a growing Product and Consumables business. The team will play a major role in delivering the business goals of growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Job Accountabilities
• Lead and coach the team in delivering the business goals, whilst maintaining a hands on approach
• Establish service level expectations for all quotations, orders and dispatches
• Deliver and exceed the service levels required for all quotations, orders and dispatches
• Ensure that both generic and specific customer price lists are updated and published regularly
• Develop and publish weekly/monthly metrics/reports for quotations/orders/dispatches to the business
• Manage the workload and resources of the department
• Ensure that the Health & Safety of the team is maintained at all times
• Schedule and enter customer orders for service parts and consumable items using the appropriate systems.
• Manage and set safety stock requirements for both parts and consumables
• Conduct weekly team and order review meetings
• Conduct all team appraisals and establish development plans, identifying individual training requirements
Education/Qualifications/Special Training,
ONC/HNC in a relevant discipline
Opportunity/Experience,
This role is an ideal opportunity for someone who has gained 2-3 years management experience and is now looking for their next challenge. It will require a candidate who can not only perform the tasks required, but lead and coach others in performing those tasks. Someone who can demonstrate experience of working with ERP systems, global customers and technical products would be ideal.
