Hi,
Does anyone know what connector is used to connect the rad fan to the main car harness ?
Is it the connector specified in the fan datahseet (AMP connector Code 180908) or did TVR use their own ?

Thanks
Paul

The connector is easily accessed, can't you take a look?

I have a spare in the loft but won't get chance to look until tonight, I assume the p/n is written on it

Mattt,I didn't have access to my Sag when I posted the question.

Thanks Shep1001 but I've got the car back now and had a look and it's the original connector provided by the fan manufacturer (It's the non-waterproof option).

Hi Paul
I have same issue on my wiring harness side,
Do you have an idea of what is best replace them with?

Power do a waterproof connector but at £18 I would expect it to come gold plated with diamonds on it. Get the RS catalogue out and take your pic from there

Hi,

Both of my connectors had been tie wrapped to the chassis underneath the washer bottle - I had to remove the bottle to get at them.
They're both in quite good condition and not causing any problems.
I might wrap them in tape or possibly heatshrink tubing before putting them back.

I changed the originals for AMP Junior connectors, these are for example the connectors which are used on the injectors. You can get male and female connectors, they could take the current of the fans without problems and are watertight and lockable.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try and find some. May as well change them before putting everything back together.
