Been quoted around £1300 + vat for a set of 46mm nitrons and £890 + vat for Gaz gold pros. This was by str8six and obviously includes fitting and a geo. Is this a good place to get them done and how do the prices compare to elsewhere?

That's a very nice price. A set of Nitrons are circa £1,000, so £300 for fitting and setup looks keen.

I would proceed with confidence.

Thanks buddy.

On a side note (irrelevant if I get it all upgraded) I've noticed my suspension sits about 1cm higher at the rear on the drivers side compared to the rear passenger side - fronts are basically equal. Likely reason?

A duff shock on one side, or simply ride heights mis-adjusted. Probably the former.

Is this with the driver it was set for in the seat

That's empty. I reckon I'm heavier than the previous owner but will get my ass in there and have my son take a look. Good point.

Have a measure to the outrigger rather than the wheel arch, the body may not be symmetrical.
