Not many bother with them. The wheels don't really fit on much else.

you can buy a universal kit apparently for under £100 that will remove most locking wheel nuts if youve lost the key

..ive never bothered, theres not like a huge market for knock off Aston wheels, because not many cars are sold, and usually their owners are not buying £200 sets of wheels down the pub with complete disregard of where they came from ....

When I purchased my car one of the first things to add was a set of locking wheel nuts.
Better to be safe than sorry. There may be a lot of people saying "I didn't bother" or "whose going to nick my wheels"? I bet the person who owns the Aston above thought exactly the same things.

Thanks for feedback, I somewhat agree about the wheels not being attractive targets, but better safe than sorry and a quick check on eBay indicates a healthy trade in 19 inch wheels at £270 each ... :-/

Oooch I hope that wasnt in Scouseland. Maybe that's where the Polish man gets all his sets of DBS wheels from!

yeah of course...its all about risk mitigation...what if that guy had locking nuts though ? you would be really miffed then

usually in the back of car magazines the locking wheel nuts are advertised on one page, and the locking wheel nut removal kit on the next

/crazy world we live in...either way the companies that make these things make money though
