Why do the single seater categories between 600 and 1600 cc have a star wars fixation?
Jedi
Force
Empire
I am sure if I look hard enough there will be an OMS reference somewhere.
Just a though that came to me this weekend at Shelsley and this seems as good a place to put it.
Anyway. As you were.

I think it was simply born out of the 80's era and I think kicked off with Jedi. Force was then started up by Bill Chaplin who then sold on the business and started up Empire. I don't think Steve Owen ever got sucked in and stuck to numbers, ( strangely barring the Hornet? ). Could be wrong Jedi

His latest creation (doing very well on the hills) is called "Wraith", I believe.
Doing my first hillclimb in about 12years, I'm at Harewood this sunday 25th August
Trying to see if either the car or me are remotely competitive - fighting for last place in Class 1A in a Mini Clubman.
Any encouragement and support gratefully received.
A tow home might be appreciated too...
