Hi all, due to water infiltration problems and poor night visibility ,I decided ti renew the headlights of my gto 3r ...
Opening the lights I've seen how poor was the coupling system, the sealing and the light system.
Therefore I started a radical change:
-new bi-xenon light, front foglights and 4 (led rings) daylights
- custom regulation system with carbon brackets
- custom connection system: now the light is bolted on the clamshell and not glued with silicon
-new sealing and screwing system
- matte silver spray
that's the result!!:

Yes you can.

Wow, that's a really nice way to update the look of the lights. I'll be interested to hear how you get on with them in the dark!

They look great,

I went 90mm CCFL's last summer, was thinking of retro-fitting E55 bi-xenons at some point but I've stuck with the standard dipped projector for now.

The carbon brackets look good, which projector have you used?

Here are mine

yesterday night I've seen that I need to low a bit more the lights ....the carbon brackets are good but maybe I'll found a different fixing system.
in the night they're really powerful !!!!
actually I'm using the lower lens as normal night light (I don't remember in english sorry wink and the upper one as a foglight ...and both have beams (with electromagnetic shutter)

I decided for a XB-led ring after seing the difference from ccfl ....they're more powerful ,rapid ,and for the 90mm the consumption is 0,25w each that means 1w for the four (that is good bcause they're powerful enough to light up till late afternoon)

the sealing is really good ,and finally I've a real removable cover!!!

soon I'd like to do a video tho show how they work

I thank everyone for the compliments

I'm available for explanations ecc...
but I warn you that is not an easy job ....and You'll need a lot of custom made stuff (like brackets, aluminium rings ,fixing and.....a LOT of patience to remove the stock sealant without breacking everything!!!!! winkwink

....some more pics
