Spotted - Dark Red S in Hazel Grove

Got a bit excited to see another S in my locality this evening at around 7:45pm, it was turning off Chester Road onto Cavendish Road.
Unfortunately I was a passenger in a van travelling in the opposite direction, so never got the chance to meet ( stalk? ) the driver.
Is it anyone on here?
I didn't see the reg no, but definately an S. ( although it did have the roof on )

Although I was in that vicinity this week, I wasn't in the S :-/

It wasn't being driven as if it was stolen
But it's a 20 mph zone with lots of speed humps.
It went very slowly along Cavendish Rd as if looking for an address.

Possibly a V8S, the only one I could find in the owners' list in the northwest is a ruby mica pearl example. Could be the one.
I wish I'd got a closer / better / longer look at it.
