What's it worth?

Griffith 500, 1998 on the R. Under 5000 miles. Like new really. Got bored with it and it's been sitting around doing nothing for the last 3 years.
Bought it new and got all the paperwork including the invoice. Had the first service and changed the oil a couple of times whilst it's been laid up.
Totally Standard.
Faults:- Slight mark on paint, immobiliser U.S. slight mark on one wheel where I touched a kerb.
Runs fine.
Any idea what it's worth? Really ought to sell it as it's just depreciating away.

Depreciating away? Think its a bit late to worry about that, value is going to be pretty stable for the foresible(sp) future, you've taken pretty well most of the pain your likely to encounter.
My advice would be to get the thing booked in with a specialist, let them give it a thorough going over, changing all the fluids and use the thing

I reckon about £500. Cash OK?
Nope, you've lost me Mark - in an attempt to answer the question, with a full recent service and the immobiliser fixed (and the tyres checked out!) I would guess around £19k-£20k.
To be honest, being laid up doing nothing will have done it no favours and it may need all sorts of silly little jobs doing that lack of use causes.
Best bet would be to email James Agger - you will find him under the members directory under Jamer. He deals with pristine TVrs and is a good guy.

Under 5000 miles is pretty rare. If you get the little niggles sorted, I reckon it's worth 20-25k. I recently spent 6 months looking for one and have got a pretty good feel for the current market. You might want to contact Rob Ingleby who could (a) give it a clean bill of health, and (b) he may have some buyers up his sleeve.

I'd go with the James Agger suggestion. If he hasn't already got a buyer waiting in the wings, then he might buy it himself and save you some of the hassle. My car came from him, and I know people who have sold to or through him and he's a gent.
