Happy Birthday old girl !! 30 years today !!

Its 30yrs to the day that my car was registered 8th August 1983. Just listening to Tony Blackburn on Radio 2, and the year is 1983 pop-pickers. Was wondering if Mr John Culbert Robertson of Glasgow was playing the hits of 1983 thru the radio, tearing along the streets making a loud noise with everyone looking to see what that car is. I wonder what that time of 80's was like. Must have been fantastic, I was earning £80 a week and he bought the car for £18,000 !!!!! And to have had it personally delivered by Tony Abrahms from Harrogate H.C's.

My old one was registered on the 1/8/83 but she didnt quite get there after that unfortunate fire

The lady who ordered her picked her up from the factory and drove her back to tilbury.

Mine's 26 next month, I'll have owned her 13 years in a couple of weeks' time.

Mine will be 28 since initial purchase on 1st October 1985 by the original first owner, Mr French - also via HHC.
I don't suppose you can find out when it was actually made to the day?

It'll be our silver anniversary next March

Mine turned 30 on the 1st August (registered day one of the new alphabet). Mine since 96 and mostly (chassis, interior, probably suspension too) original.

Mine is 30 on December 22nd same birthday as me!!! Christmas present for somebody when bought new me thinks!
