I've swapped my classic for a 1994 model, my current insurer will not cover under a classic policy. Not a problem Direct Line have provided a good quote. What I would miss is the european roadside assistance which was included.

Alternatively anyone know of euro assistance policys that will cover?

I'm pretty sure RH Classic will do a 94 model on a classic policy, and they provide European breakdown assistance.

I`m sure you can get a "Classic Policy" for your 94 car, but that normally means its a second car with various restrictions and you have another car which is your "daily driver".

I'm pretty sure that Direct line do that.

My classic insurer Heritage offered to cover my 94 XJ6 several years ago, but they wouldn't give me business cover on it, which they were happy to give on my XK150.

RH have insured my 66 Mustang Coupe for the last two years....and very good they are, too. And without ANY restrictions on mileage, either. In fact, I think I'll take her out for a run today..........

I think you'll find both Peter James and Footman James will cover a 1994 on a classic policy with european cover.

Classicline offer free breakdown insurance but will probably offer Euro cover as an extra.
