Heater connection hose

Replacing the hose from the heater rail to inlet manifold on a 1997 4.5

Removed the old hose to find the connector on the manifold looks to have been chopped

Whats the correct fitting that should be in there?

the hose that fits the part in question is only 16mm

You're right. Apologies, I couldn't see the image on my Blackberry, so thought you referring to the heater hoses at the rear of the plenum from the description.

The fitting normally just has a single barb (rolled rib) on the top of what you have (cut off) IIRC.
