Dislodged it slightly when putting hardtop in the boot. Appears to have come out from the o/s rear light cluster area. Has what appear to be an led cluster which is confusing. Could it be a light for the boot? Had a quick play but couldn't get it to light up. 2001 Griffith.

Apologies for phone pics. Last photo should be rotated 180 degrees.

I would go with your guess. Looks like someone has tried fitted a boot light to me. or maybe changed the number plate lamps to LED?

I cant quite tell because Im also on my phone, but you say they wont light up.... could they be infared leds? Try doing it in a dark room, or look through a camera at them whilst theyre on.

They are LED boot lights and I believe supplied by David Beer (Modwise).
They connect up to a switch in the wiring behind the pull out panel behind the passenger door and I think their should be a magnet which sits on the boot lid frame so when you open the boot the magnet moves away and opens the circuit. All from memory so maybe talking ballcocks.
