Quick check as mine appears to have developed a small leak and I am somewhat nervous of blowing my forged internals to pieces.

I believe so from posts, are the same. Check, should look the same.Mine has always had a drop of oil on it coming from somewhere. Valley gasget front crank oil seal etc. As long as oil pressure is ok then no worries for me.

For the sake of search monkeys of the future, I have it on good authority ( and they don't come much better ) that the switch is indeed that same as the Landy version

They are all essentially the same across all the V8's, but there are @3 versions with different pressure turning on/off points ~ not that it matters too much when you have a pressure gauge, but obviously the higher switch the better (earliest warning). They come in something like 5, 10 & 15psi variants IIRC.
