Porsche Outdoor Car Cover

I was wondering if anyone could help.

I have just ordered a Porsche out door car cover form my OPC. It came in a silver bag and the cover comes out. However the bag that it came in is attached and seems to stay on the inside of the cover.

There is a suction cup as well. I know I am missing something obvious but surely the bag with a zip would not be on the inside where it could scratch the pain would it?

Any help would be appreciated.

I thought OPC only sold indoor covers. What car do you have?

It is a 997 GTS.

Stick the rubber suction cap to your window where the rear view mirror is. Then unroll the cover, pop on the wing mirror bits. Make sure front is open, put the two cords into the front boot and close, then fit front and back.simples

Thanks SimC, where does the the bag that it originally came in go, I was worried that the zips would scratch the car.

I cut off the bag from my cover and i cut off those security steel wires as well....too much fannying about with them attached

I leave the bag on the windscreen. Not had any probs. the wires under the front hood are to stop the cover being stolen.

Thanks everyone, I had a go and the bag on the windscreen works a treat. I appreciate the input, maybe the cat may leave my car alone now!
