Where it connects to the down pipe is there a joint supposed to be in there or is it supposed to seal. Have'nt pulled it apart yet but its blowing.

It's usually an olive joint: although the olives are iron they can still get burned away so the sooner you fix it (with some ponge) the better...

I got new seals from TVRCarParts so David Gerald should have them now. As said before, they're essentially soft iron 'doughnuts' that act as gaskets.

Your local motor factors should have them in stock, a coating of paste will ensure a good seal. Can't have it leaking, you will need all the bhp for next month lol.

Just took it aparr and whacked some paste in good as new now.
