The cat kindly left me this little chap outside the bedroom door this morning.
It appears to be some sort of vole, but does anyone know exactly what sort?

It's a vole, years ago one of the cats had a tiny baby , it had no fur and was blind, I reared it on kitten milk and it lived till nearly 2yr old, it was really tame and we called it bob,
You would put your hand in the cage and it would run up your arm and sit on your shoulder.

I know that it's a vole, but according to Wiki, there are 155 different species. I wondered if anyone could help me identify what sort of vole it is?

The dead sort.

I didn't think to take a picture of the one I saw earlier whilst walking the dog. Half a vole, the bottom half, left at the side of a path.

My cat brought in a giant caterpillar this week. Turns out it was from a Privet Hawkmoth
