Needs some help from you porches guys please (im from the TVR side of things)
Been offered a 1985 911 carera s with 77000 miles full history good condition in side and out.
Ive been asked to make an offer but have no idea what its worth

Between 7k and 25k depending on condition, spec and history.

And when I say condition, I don't mean how shiny on the outside it is.

The car needs a small amount of work to make A1
Also has
Cruise control
Electric seats
Electric sun roof
Full leather
Air con
But is the non turbo version
History looks good
What would be the main areas to check

Rust is an issue especially on sills, kidney bowls, B posts, scuttle, near headlights and where bumpers meet body.

Engines are tough however top end rebuilds can be needed at any mileage depending on history and maintenance.

915 box fine if in good condition.

Condition and history paramount as these cars cost a lot to put right. A good car should be fairly cheap to run and great fun.
