My ice smells of fish!

Is this normal? The last couple of bags I have opened and used in my cider make my fingers smell of fish

Maybe some fish juice leaked on your ice bag. Have you any frozen fish bags in the freezer..

Does everything smell of fish or just your fingers and ice? You may have a lump of fish stuck up your nose hole.

Just the ice and fingers, my nose hasn't been near any fish.

Where did you buy your ice from? Is it made from spring water, or something? Seems a bit strange though. My ice smells a lot like coldness.

Ice in cider? That's what poofs do isn't it? It's natures way of telling you to man up and drink it properly.

When the local trawlers have hit all their quotas, they just land crates full of ice at Newlyn and auction that off to the same buyers for the supermarkets that normally source the fish.
