Adding things to the list....
Discussion
Dropped the wedge at my local body shop this morning to get the bonnet vents fixed and bonnet and front spoiler painted. Going to have to add a few things to the to do list:
1. Brakes - pedal seems really long
2. Clutch - Biting point seems quite high
3. Handbrake - comes up to near 90 degree angle before holding the car
The brakes and they handbrake I am not so concerned about but the clutch worries me!!

I'd be less worried about changing a clutch than getting bodywork sorted.
The brake pedal is quite long but that's down to the design and location of the pedal box.
The handbrake issue is common; you might want to check you actually still have some handbrake pads in there, they don't like the rolling-road brake tester used in the MOT...

Hi Ian, I take it you mean you would be more worried about changing the clutch than doing body work? If that's the case, yes so would I have been if I'd noticed it earlier! I am going to check the fluid and see if it needs bled and work from there. Still think there is quite a bit of travel in the pedal...
Everything just seems a lot tighter in my S but they are different cars..
