Cayman S Gen 1 or 997S ?

Thinking of changing my TVR Tamora for one of these.

Previously had a 987S Boxster, what would you recommend.

If you had a 987 boxster, I'd say 911 just for a change.

Driving dynamic in 997 very different to the Boxster/Cayman which are both pretty similar.

But if you loved the boxster, the Cayman is the better drivers car all round compared to the 911 I think.

Suggest you drive them both before deciding. I faced the exact same dilemma and after a good drive of both elected for the Cayman S as I felt it suited my driving style more than the 997.

Cayman S - without a doubt.

Much better drivers car.

The 997 is a bit like a in comparison.

997 everytime - Cayman is great, but lacks character in comparison. Cayman is probably more competent at what it does, is easier to drive - but the 997 just feels like a more serious car.
