Hello,

Got a track day gift from a friend and have the following options (at least within a 3 hour drive of me), just wondering which one would be the best out of the three if any of you have any experience at them:
Cambridgeshire - Carver Mod Driving Centre
Essex - North Weald
Hampshire - Aldershot

Cheers

Not sure where you are based, but I'd go for Bedford autodrome.

I think he's only got the option of the three listed....

Bedford was quite good, but for some reason I liked Brands Hatch more!

OP surely that's not a track day its an experience day - you may well have fun but its driving round cones on an airfield in a car the organisers provide not your own car - 2x 20 mins with an instructer tends to be the standard with a fair amounty of waiting around in between - if you adjust the heading of the thread you may attract a response from someone who has been on the same day - better still include the organisers name - north weald is the place Andy Walsh uses for his car control days - its a pretty bleak place but works well for his type of activity - not sure it would be much of a venue for an experience day

Carver Barracks is in North Essex, just south of Saffron Walden. Lovely scenic countryside around there, they shot quite a bit of Lovejoy in that area. And not far from Cambridge.
Aldershot is army too.
North Weald does a fair amount of car stuff and is the closest to London, it's just off the M11.

Depends which is easiest to get to.
