Its been over a month since we all met up.

Even the Glaswegians seem to be better organised than us these days :'(

The only two questions to ask are
When?
and
Where?

Soon in Edinburgh!

Things are a bit hectic with the Festival so it might be worth waiting 'til early September.

I was thinking of hitting the Weeg on the 29th for PH curry so I'll have free seats for that if anyone fancies it...

I've never done a PH run/meet before so would love to tag along! What do you guys normally do and where do you go?

New people are always welcome to turn up to the meets. We were all the new person at one time.

The Edinlush is a pub meet where we discuss cars and set the world to rights. There is currently no set venue as we are still looking for a new venue. The three points we need to consider for a venue are
1. Reasonably central in Edinburgh i.e Stockbridge considered
2. Wheelchair accessible
3. Serves food as some people come straight from work.

There are also several restaurant meets (Edinburgh and Glasgow) where someone decides on a restaurant to go to and starts a thread inviting everyone to come along. We have been to everything from Mongolian to tapas.
Like this http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

The runs are usually organised by one person who sorts the route out and any one who wants to come along signs up on the thread and meets at the start point. The longer runs usually involve a lunch stop but some of the really long runs involve an over night stop.
The rules for the runs are
1. No Nissan Micras.
2. Turn up.
3. Talk cars
4. Eat drink and be sober!
5. Does anyone need a rule 5?

Cheers for the info. Luckily I don't have a micra, although my mx5 probably isn't much faster ha.

I'd be up for it, any excuse for a beer biggrin

Previous work arrangements meant Thursdays weren't a good night for me, but that's changed.

Cant this friday. We need to get a decent nights sleep and a clear head as we are going to leuchars on Saturday.
