A big THANK YOU!

A huge thanks to Andy @ APM TVR Servicing in Passfield, Hampshire.
I revently had an electrical problem - battery wouldn't accept charge - I spoke to Andy and he said to get the car in to him if I could get it running. Yesterday morning I managed to get it going and ran it in to him, where he checked the battery and alternator with a voltage meter and quickly ascertained the fault was probably with the in-line fuse. Apparently this is a common problem as they get brittle with age and break due to vibrations.
Less than 10 minutes later, he'd put in an uprated part (up from 100amp to 125 and with plastic bits which absorb the vibrations) and the car now works perfectly. Andy didn't seem to want payment for any more thn the £4 part, although I slipped him a note.
Great service from a great guy with loads of knowledge. I couldn't recommend him more!

Very funny folks! Like many PH'ers, I'm very quick to jump on here and moan about poor service/high bills so it's only fair to reach a balance when there's been a good experience.
And yes, it was more than a fiver. I'm not from the North where 50p's are shaped the way they are so they can be removed from one's hand with a spanner.
