Had my 07 111r for 5 years now and I'm bored. Did less than 1000 miles last year and when I go out for a play these days, its invariably on my bike.

But if I do sell it, what do I replace it with? Needs to be new / nearly new and for all their sophistication I dont fancy a porker. Bland. Not interested n mass production so called sports cars like the z4 or the mx5 or the merc. Seems there is only morgan left of the british makers.

Any small firms on the continent?

Just be sure. Had mine 2.5 years and then sold it. Ever since just looking to get another one. Sorely missed. Otherwise, perhaps move up to an SC. Anyway, take it out for a spin first and then see how you feel.

Not sufficient difference and I prefer open top anyway.

+1.

Definitely a bit more "raw" than the Elise and might give you some of the thrills you get from a bike.

When I had my Caterham R400 I didn't ride my bike that much, now I have an Elise I ride my bike more. Early morning blats in an aeroscreened Caterham are fantastic......
