I've done a few google searches and it seems the closest AM servicing is going to be Derby (Statstone) or Dove House which is near Northampton (I think), are there any others I should know about and has anyone got experience of the two I just mentioned?

www.bamfordrose.com

They have looked after my car for the last couple of years; both servicing and upgrading.

Staffed by a team of former Aston engineers, they designed and built the Gaydon cars rather than went on a training course smile

I used Dove House for some work on my DB9 a couple of months ago and would definitely recommend them. Treated my car very well. Quality of the work was excellent. If you call them ask for Tony

PM me if you want more details of what they did etc

Depends how far you want to travel I guess. Ive used PSR Automotive at Bishops Stortford in the past, usually when im flying out of Stansted, its convenient to get my car serviced and drop/pick up

They service various Astons, Ferraris, Lambos, Porsche, Lotus etc and are well known by car club/enthusiasts of various marques

Thanks for the feedback, BR look and sound good but are a bit far, I wondered if their car collection service was free (I doubt it). Dove house were very friendly when I called, Tony seemed a nice chap, I'm 15 miles North of Peter-bog horror by the way, so Dove house defo closest it seems, will PM you (gbp1) for some further info.

Lee,

I favour Works Service and have a good relationship there with Martin Rummery in Service, there not to far away for you and its a nice drive from
Bourne it will take you no longer than Derby and about the same as Cambridge.

I have found their work first class, but you do pay a premium for that privilege that said I'm sure in todays market rates might be flexible shall we say.

You can get Martin on 01908 619136 if that helps,I'm sure you won't be disappointed,by the way haven't seen you pass since you pipped when I was
receiving a little delivery, have you changed you route or stopped taking the Aston to work?.

If you want any further assistance re Works Service drop us a PM or better still call in and we can admire the beasts.thumbup

I'm about 10 miles north of Peterborough.. I had mine done at Bamford Rose. I did pay for collection, had the clutch done ... and decided to make arrangements for collection. It was good to go over thre to see their set up.

Cheers chaps , Ed, have been car sharing recently.., but looking for any excuse to take the Aston to work, like this whole week for instance :-) are you around at about 5pm on an evening? could pop by on the way back from work tomorrow or Friday as I'm having to finish early and will be passing?

Had a look at crowland abbey last week after seeing your pics taken there, nice drive alongside the welland and beautiful building :-)

Yep I'm about but I currently have a new DB9 Volante on the drive as I swapped mine over today at Millbrook as its gone in for the brake squeal
to be fixed, got it til next Wednesday cus HWM are sending my newly scuffed wheel to Leptons for repairrolleyeswhile its in.

So if you want a look at that or better still a cruise out in it drop me a pm and I'll arrange ityes

Crowland Abbey's very nice for some pictures, we regularly drive the river bank of an evening all year round but in Feb and March there's more Owls
down there than in a Harry Potter Film, very nice to pull up and watch.

Hopefully doing some more photo's out that way soon as those I posted were only quickies, one of my daughters boyfriends is a very keen Photographer
and is keen to do a bit of a shoot with Aston's, he'll probably do yours as well if I kick him..........hehe

Have been thinking of asking on here if a few locals fancied a get together at a few preselected photo hot spots and let the Kodak kid do his worstbiglaugh

Food for thought.
