Informal evening Dales run tonight

As it looks like it *might* be a reasonable evening and nights are drawing in from this point on...

If anyone wants to join me I'm going to take my Elise on a quick lap of the some of the best Dales roads this evening. Circa 90 miles, 2 and a bit hours, meeting in time to leave at 7pm. Unless it starts raining before 6pm in which case I'm not bothering and will post on here to say so

Meeting point - Swinsty Res./A59 car park here, arrive in time for 7pm departure

Suggested route - here, although open to suggestions from attendees

Usual rules apply - don't drive like a t*t, strict observance of limits in built-up areas, don't overtake unless you really, genuinely, definitely can see far enough. I'm not being secretive about the route when it's this short notice but lets not give anyone cause to complain anyway.

How about 1 night over the next few weeks when the forecast is looking better? If we have notice the night before I can drive to work and head straight out...

I agree Shnozz. It's looking like it's about to rain here too and sounds like most people who'd like to go can't make it.

I'm going to cry off and go home tonight. I can't do next Wednesday 'cos I'm going to the Ilkley Autotest (see other thread!) but otherwise let's see if the weather comes good
