Good Tri-band Mobile

Some advice greatly appreciated. I'm going to be spending some time in the States over the course of the next few months and need to get a decent tri-band mobile phone.

Can anyone recommend a decent model - one that is easy to use (especially from a texting point of view!).

Also, any ideas on the best network for calling the UK from the USA - if any "deals" exist in regard to call costs etc.

Still can't beat a 6310 for a proper ponce-free phone.

I used a Sony Ericsson P800 in the USA with no probs. Have just upgraded to the P910 which is supposedly even better.
