Works out about £3750 for pipes & backbox (vat included in that price) plus fitting i guess.

The reason I ask is that you may or may not know about the work on mine. It currently sounds great at 99dB and has an extra 60BHP that changing the exhaust backbox will not give you. Granted it is around £6,500 fitted, but 60 BHP wink

Yeah, i need to look at all options.

Not sure i need any more power at the moment, mainly due to not wanting to change too much in engine, especially with warranty still going.

quicksilver exhausts get 'ok' feedback, but I'm under the impression Capristo are one of the better ones.

Eric showed me his V12V with just the pipes, but now thinking maybe go full hog and get the lot!!

Jonby has both fitted. He will be along soon no doubt. Heard it at Silverstone - very impressive especially at high revs.

The Capristo exhaust is undoubtedly a beautiful piece of kit and I looked into it during my search for a replacement exhaust for my V8V this week. However, in the few videos I saw on Youtube, I found it to sound a bit too raspy for my taste.

Just out of interest, did BR offer you a warranty with the work they did?

That is very interesting - more to consider.

Think i'll get the exhaust system first and maybe engine mods later on...(and finish it all off with girlie tyres at some point! wink )

rolleyes You are a girl yes

The exhausts did most of my 60BHP, cams 25 BHP, but I would never take them out if I removed the exhausts. No point.

Manifolds, 200 cell cats (with resonators) and the same back box.

Matt, the chap at scuderia systems offered me the whole lot at £2800+ VAT. Meaning the delete cats and the back box (capristo). So deal can be had.
Fitting should be 2-300 quids at Aston main dealer.

Unlike the cat swap which is super easy, the backbox fitting requires the whole rear bumper to come off.
