After spending some time look at various cars, buying an Audi S5 and handing it back again (Due to engine problem) I thought I'd settled on a 330d Touring - all the car I would need!

Well it's amazing how things change - there I was look at lease deals and the M5 jumped out at me, slaped me around the face a few times and I put my deposit down yesterday - delivery in 7 weeks. :-) Wow I am a very excited boy!!

So here begs the question about specification and I would appreciate your advice please - So far I have thought:

Singapore Grey, Orange (Red) Leather with fineline Anthracite trim (go well with Red?) and split folding rear seats - They are pretty well specced cars as standard.

Things not decided on are:

- Reversing Camera
- Heated Steering wheel
- Internet
- Online Entertainment - seems really cool

Worth while options?

Cheers

I'd go for all. I never tick the heated steering wheel box, but there are always a few days each year when I wish I had.

The internet functionality is useful, unlike TV.

I ordered Internet and have never used it, much easier to use my phone. One option I wish I ordered is the reversing camera, it's a big car and any help you can get reversing is a bonus.

I have stuck the standard seats on the LCI at the moment - are these any good? I think they come with back width adjustment now..

I hope you don't mind me asking but what kind of discount did you negotiate? Was it 0% APR? What was your deposit and the installment plan?

Also, do you plan on paying a baloon payment at the end or trading up?

Same spec as mine bar I`ve had Sakhir orange interior. So what if you want internet after the 1 year? Is the £95 option free for life or something then?

You're driving regularly in London ? Get the reversing camera, no question. The beepers are overly sensitive and tell you you're about to collide and explode when there's still 1m to go, which you can see quite clearly on the camera.

Other stuff is personal preference. One of the internet options combinations lets you start up the climate control remotely from your mobile, which is something of a first world problem but it is quite nice not to bake / freeze as you get in.

My X5 has the heated wheel....I really like it in winter and my wife loves it.

I'd definitely have Comfort Access and I think a lot of people like the M Multi Function Seats. If you've got or are going to have kids get the Sun Protection Glass and Blinds....they're also really good for privacy. People can't see in if you've left anything on the back seat which can happen by accident etc.

Was that a business/personal lease deal via a broker or with BMW directly as that's v good? Could you pm the company as my finance company can get under £500 month on a personal deal at the moment, thanks

You seem shocked. Seriously?

I thought it was exceptionally cheap for a £75k car.

Good work OP - enjoy.

Thats is quite cheap for monthly costs. I didn't know it was that cheap. I commute on tube / pedal bike, otherwise I'd be thinking hmm... only 7 weeks to wait... might have a look at that!

I don't have to spend it all but I put £300 pcm away just to make sure the Tuscan has an adequate 'war-chest'.

That price is including VAT based on 8k miles per year and only including the option of split fold seats.

It's difficult finding a car without the Multi contour seats - are the standards seats any good?

The Internet is £95 annually after year 1. I am getting the rear seat brackets for a couple of rear facing Ipads and then stream content.

Brilliant prices for a £70k+ car. The first year ved is £900+. What's a warranty on a car nowadays cost like this £1500 a year. They're all inc. amazing really!
